Mr. Cherry is the president of the Crime Victims Advocacy Council (CVAC) which: lobbies for crime victim legislation; administers a scholarship program for victims and/or surviving family members.

Mrs. Candace Jordan-Sims has been a Community Advocate since 2005 (through the Gwinnett County Leadership Institute) advocating for Victim’s Rights long before the journey to Grief and Loss Support began.
